Thynx is a social networking app for community hat posts, profile archives, direct messages, credit recharge, and AI hat try-on previews. This policy explains what information the app processes when you browse the feed, publish posts, message other users, recharge credits, or upload images for preview generation.

1. Payments and Credits

When you recharge credits, we process purchase status, product identifiers, transaction references, and current balance state so your purchased credits can be delivered and restored. Payment card details are handled by the platform store, not stored by Thynx directly. Purchase records are retained for up to 7 years to support tax, accounting, fraud review, and customer service obligations. The legal basis is contract fulfillment and legal compliance.

3. Camera and Photo Access

Camera and photo library permissions are used when you capture profile images, choose post media, or upload photos for AI try-on. Selected media is processed only for the feature you requested. If you do not grant these permissions, browsing and reading features remain available, but media upload and preview flows may be limited.

4. AI and Image Processing Features

AI try-on features process the photo you select, the reference hat image, and the resulting preview image. Preview inputs are kept for the active processing session and short operational troubleshooting windows only. Generated previews and uploaded inputs are normally removed within 30 days unless you save them into your own post or profile content. The legal basis is your consent and contract fulfillment for the requested preview service.

5. User Content and Community

Posts, comments embedded in post content, likes, direct messages, report submissions, and block actions are processed so the app can display community content, enforce safety controls, and keep your feed and message list usable. Public posts remain visible until you delete them or moderation requires removal. Report and block records may be kept for up to 24 months to support trust and safety review. The legal basis is contract fulfillment and legitimate interest in community safety.

If you allow tracking, the app may process install attribution and performance events to understand app stability and adoption. Tracking permission is optional. Related diagnostic data is normally retained for 90 days. The legal basis is consent.
